Hey Heath,
I had a great time and learned a lot. Chompin' at the bit to get out on the water..when the ice thaws! I'll definitely be back down there in the near future and you're the man I'll call. We all had fun, look forward to the next trip.

"On our first trip with Heath, my friend Andrew from New York caught the biggest fish of his life in the first 15 minutes!! Heath is a great guy and a lot of fun to fish with. He really knows lake fork and goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are getting their moneys worth. I would definitely recommend him if you're looking for a guide on Lake Fork!! I also bought Heath's Ranger Boat last year and the transaction went very smooth and there were no surprises!!"

For many years, I read about “Lake Fork” and the hundreds of fish entered into the ShareLunker Program. When I moved from Georgia to Texas in 1996, the first lake I visited was “Lake Fork”. On my first trip, my Dad caught his first 10lb+ Bass and we boated over 20 fish! I have been fishing Lake Fork ever since.
About Us
I would like take this opportunity to introduce myself to each of you and give you a little background information about me and my family.

My wife's name is Chris and we have two wonderful children, Chase, (5 years old) and McKenzie, (2 years old). Chris works as a Technical Editor for Thomson Reuters and we live in Emory, Texas. I grew up on a farm in Vidalia, Ga. where I learned many valuable life lessons, including respect, integrity, honesty, and hard work.

After graduating from high school, I attended Georgia Southern University, where I obtained a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduating from college, I began my engineering career with Gulfsteam Aerospace. In 1996, I accepted a position to work on the F-22 Fighter program with Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas. For the past 14 yrs, I have been involved with the entire F-22 Flight Test program.

In January 2009, I made a "major" career change. I gave up my position as Lead Mechanical Flight Test Engineer on the F-22 to begin guiding full time on Lake Fork. No, I'm not crazy. I'm just following my passion!

I hope to have the opportunity to take you fishing and earn your business. I will do everything within my power to make sure each of you have a great time on the water! I have a passion for teaching people how to fish and I love to see people smiling when they reel in the fish of a lifetime!!

The trips last anywhere from 8 to 10 hours including lunch. I'm flexible. For example, if you booked an 8 hour Trip and you still want to fish for another hour or two, You Can Do That. Or, you booked a 10 hour Trip and we have a slow day or the weather is bad, we can stop at 8 hours and save some money!

We generally fish until around 11:30AM and then break for Lunch. We eat at Moser's Restaurant at Lake Fork Marina. Lunches cost around $6.00, including drinks. (Famous for their Homemade Pies -"My Oh My, The Pies". We then go back out and fish until quititing time.
Where should I stay at Lake Fork?
Most of my Trips leave from Lake Fork Marina. They have Lodges, Motel, Restaurant and Tackle Shop/Store. However, there are several other places to stay close by. Here are a few links to Lodging in the Lake Fork Area;
Can you handle group or corporate Trips?
Yes! Corporate Trips can be coordinated. But remember, most of the Full-Time Guides book up early during the spring. So, if you are interested in a corporate trip in the springtime, be sure to book your Trip early.
Where will we meet and what time will we leave on the day of our Trip?
We'll leave from Lake Fork Marina around sunrise. Call me a couple of days before your Trip and we'll work out all the details.
